Bohemian Thrifting
Elena Vanasse Torres says she loves to shop at thrift stores and it always looking for something that has a bohemian flair. In the summer she is particularly drawn to clothing that lets some air and keeps her cool.
She says she picked up her hat last year when she was at the Street Fair last year, which she described as “hot as hell” and the hat was a way to keep her cool.
Her shirt was a find in China where she picked up a bunch in different colors. We weren’t sure what to call her shorts with suspenders. In our mind they look like “romperalls” a combination of overalls and a romper. In any event, it looked great.
She picked her romperalls and glasses at Buffalo Exchange.
Her Brazilian-made sandals were picked up in Costa Rica.
