Covering up to keep cool
Federico Pennacchini a Tucson native dubs his style as “functional native.” Federico a member of the local rockabilly band TheOutlaw Rebels said dresses in away to avoid dying of heat stroke in the Tucson sun.
“It suckers you here and that is how it kills you,” he says of the Tucson heat.
Federico wears a light cotton undershirt with a light long-sleeve cotton shirt over it to keep the sun off his arms, but allow for air flow. He says a wide-brim hat it also essential.
Personally, I love the look of the briefcase and cowboy hat.
