Presidents and Babies

No, we’re not talking about last night’s debates. Though feel free to have at it!

But Monday marked TiS’s co-author’s Julie’s son Lincoln’s 6th birthday, and today we celebrate the birth of co-author Michael’s son, whose Presidential name will be revealed if he wishes.

At any rate—mazal tov to the beauty and blessings of these beautiful boys born the first week of October!!!

Here’s toddler Linc, wearing a hand-dyed-by-me aqua tee and plaid lid–definitely a typical Lincoln look. Cool and dressed for the weather. Already forming his own Tucson style.

Lincoln, soon after meeting his little sister. Note the seasonally appropriate (and ecologically sound hand-me-down) corduroy pants and Texas tee (same, hand-me-down) layered over a long-sleeved solid shirt. All parts of this outfit were then worn by his sister and/or his pals.

and tonight, after a week of celebrating Lincoln’s birthday with family and friends, Linc’s daddy and I raised a glass in celebration of Michael and Irene’s son’s birth this morning at our semi-regular desert picnic this evening. We saw five shooting stars and part of the milky way, and heard the howling of coyotes.

Cheers, and welcome, Tucson’s newest son.

We’re so glad you’re here.
