Sarah in aqua
…on the catwalk of the Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering building. There’s some pretty sweet architecture on campus, and AME is a stellar example. Catwalks + palm trees + breezy monsoon afternoon = awesome photos of my colleague, the lovely Sarah Wieland, one half of the awesomeness that is the AME academic advising team.
She describes her fashion sense for us:
I would say my style is a casual, classic look. I don’t go too trendy as I stick by the “if I’ve already seen this before, I’m too old for it” motto….I look for pieces with visual or textural interest and classic or modern lines and fit. I’m frugal, but I’d rather spend a little more on a classic, quality piece than have lots of trendy items. Of course, I love a good yoga pant and when I’m not at work, lululemon is my uniform.
(full disclosure: in addition to being an academic advisor, Sarah is a lululemon ambassador and you’ll find her all over town at yoga, spinning, and TRX classes.)
She’s wearing my favorite color combo, aqua and orange. Check out the cute enamel bracelets
and the espadrille wedges
All in all, a modern American knockout. (Except, well, she’s Canadian!)
