St. Vincent de Paul
On the first and third Saturdays of every month. St. Vincent de Paul, lovingly known as St. Vinny’s, sells all clothing for $1. Really. Well, they exclude “red tag” items, which means that the wedding dresses and ball gowns probably won’t be a dollar, and vintage and leather is often red-tagged. But there is a lot you can score for $1.
I spotted the circus-hued Western shirt above, pearl buttons and all, in the men’s shirt section earlier this week.
I typically go once a month, and get things even if they’re not right for me. In fact, most of my purchases are made with someone else in mind. It’s so fun to come home with a pile of clothes and hand them out to my friends. In my next life, I might be a personal shopper I have a pretty good track record of choosing things for other people.
My local store is awesome. Maybe I’ll see you there on later today.
