The women of Preen
I’ve been thrifting a lot lately and needed to have some alterations made on a pair of pants and several suit jackets. Rather than take them to a tailor inside a dry cleaners, I opted to take them to Preen.
Preen is run by Erin, left, and Emilie, right, out of a small space off of Fourth Avenue.
Their alterations and design studio funky and cool. Vintage dresses and menswear litter the space and hip music plays from the studio’s speakers.
I haven’t gotten to work back yet, but enjoyed the space and the conversation. When I go back, I’ll take more photos of the studio.
